took a pic of this beast while on hols last week

Love the detail on the wings of that sucker!!

I'd crop and rotate this, taking out most of the right hand side empty space, you could probably apply a bit of additional sharpening too

some nice spring type scenes, lots of green, but it's still quite flat; mabye boost the greens and increase the contrast, an amber filter in PS would bring them out too

very nice

I've got a full version of photomatrix, if you want send me the files and the settings xml and i'll do you one without the watermark

Nick

Lovely scene, like the graduation of the blues in the sky, take it you're on a PL filter

Stink, good work as usual :afro:

Have you considered a flash behind you to really light up the back drop to give it a nice white instead of the muted grey from the falloff light?

It's the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G I actually went for it as a portrait / close up lens; I'd been asked to do the photos at a friend's wedding, so wanted something fast as flashes weren't allowed in the church; which was an excuse to spend some money on new glass

Cheers!! That's my thinking too, I've got loads of images I personally like, but that I wouldn't necessarily have on the wall, so hoping to get some more images like these and then get them put onto canvas.
