New car detail - GTI Performance
« on: 11 June 2018, 19:58 »
So my new car arrived this week and got chance yesterday to get it sorted.

Didn’t need too much in the way decontamination.

Snowfoam, hand wash, clay bar, hand polish using Auto Finesse Tripple finished with a coat of Best Of Show.

Glass sealed and tried out Chemical Guys Silk Shine for the tyres.

Probably needs a full machine polish as was washed prior to delivery and wasn’t a great job. Gloss pillars will be done when I get a minute.

But looks great now. Will probably put a ceramic sealant on but wanted to use the wax.

Looks great Jim. What is it about Parker alloys on your GTI’s? On your previous GTI and now your new one, I think they look good.........(quickly puts the iPad into sleep mode to avoid the abuse from the Parker haters! ).

Cheers! Think them being clean and having nice dressed tyres sets them off well
