Long term parking
« on: 08 February 2019, 11:41 »
Hello. Does anyone know if you can park the car without the parking brake being engaged, on a DCT?

My car's going to be used lightly over the next few weeks and it always makes me cringe when the brake sticks after you've not used it for a while...

Turn the engine off (but the ignition still on) whilst still in "D". Put the car into "P" then turn the handbrake off. Turn off ignition.

Job done.
