Snorricam!
« on: 31 January 2014, 02:20 »
Yes, bless you!  Spent a fun evening making one of these for a mate of mine who's asked me to help filming him for a music video he's doing for an upcoming EP.

Start with some luggage straps, some Sterling board and a bit of lightweight box.

What does he say?

'can we go shopping with it like this?'.  No.

'can we go to a local pottery?' No.

Best cut it down a touch

Bit more cutting and raiding the M8 bolt supply and we're away:

It's actually astonishingly light.  First dirty test came out like this:

Another ridiculous device made!
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

What was that test video shot with? It looks like a very wide angle lens. I wonder if a stabilised lens would help

50mm with a dirty little fisheye attachment.

It's horrific, but will deliver a suitably lo-fi effect which will work for this piece.

now that's a ghetto mod!

I think you need to add some duct tape for effect and to polish the mod
