Trackday help
« on: 31 July 2012, 00:32 »
Any help would be appriciated!
Iv removed my dash to save weight and I'm trying to find a nice place to fit my main gauge cluster.
Does anyone have any diagrams, pics, ideas?

It's very temporarily cable tied in at the moment.

Cheers

Put the dash back in.  It's very light and it fulfils a large number of functions, such as providing heating and ventilation, holding switches, stopping reflections on your windscreen.

Unless of course you've already done a huge amount of lightening and the only thing left to do is remove the dash?

I was thinking about this, iv removed all of the sound deadening, so it wouldn't have been a waste of time.

Let's just get some confirmation here - you're running a VR6 in a Golf2 and you're removing the dashboard to remove weight?
