Shelves have emptied time to re-stock
« on: 13 April 2015, 14:39 »
As the title suggest I am out or will soon run out of the following:

Shampoo - have been using Gtechniq G wash, a bit underwhelmed by this as it didnt sud as well as I thought it would nor does it provide very good coverage. Admittedly I purchased a small bottle and did so before I actually starting taking a keener interest in the whole detailing 'thing';
Snow Foam - Been using Autofinesse Avalanche - how does this compare to the others that have been mentioned in the Snow foam Thread namely, Valet Pro - Advanced Neutral Snow Foam and Bilt Hamber - Auto Foam;
Sealant - initially started with Gtechniq C2V3 - this was my first use of a sealant. When I purchased some items prior to Xmas one of the sites gave me a free Autofinesse Tough Coat which I used for the first time yesterday. I must say very easy to use and apply. Looked like it did the job but I want to see how long it will last before I pass a proper judgement.

I would appreciate if someone could recommend other replacement products that I could try which would be an upgrade from those that I have been using.

It's all subjective but I don't think you can go wrong with DoDo Juice Born to be Mild Shampoo, PH neutral so gentle but very effective.  I try lots of different shampoos but always return to this.  Also highly recommend DoDo Juice Supernatural Shampoo.  It's highly concentrated so less is required, very slick suds which glide effortlessly across the paintwork, no dragging, great cleansing too.  I alternate between those two shampoos most of the time.

Snow foam - never tried Auto Finnesse Avalanche but have tried a few others and can't recommend Valet Pro Neutral Advanced enough, Bilt Hamber Auto Foam comes ia close second.

Sealant - never tried Gtechniq C2V3 but might give it a go at some point. Am more of a wax person but often used in conjunction with Poorboys Ex-P.  I like the finish of a wax on top of sealant, gives more depth to the colour and gloss imo.

DoDo Juice a Tropical Red Mist is a spray sealant and gives a lovely wet finish and is ace on DBP.  It's not the easiest to buff off.  Easy enough to apply though, but don't leave it for any time, buff off immediately, is the trick I think.

For a Sealant try Sofft99 Fusso from Niponshine! It's fantastic.. Use sparingly and do a panel at a time!

I'm using Dodo juice supernatural carnuba glaze at the moment, which has sealant properties. It's really eat to apply as goes on in a clear liquid and then a quick buff off.

Shampoo, I'm using an OCD Finish product, which again does agreat job. If your buying anything from them check out their quick detailer too, smells great and the water beads really nice with it!

Cheers

Or DoDo a Juice Supernatural Hybrid Paste Sealant.  Excellent stuff.  Goes on much like a wax and easy to buff off.

Shampoos - can't go wrong with auto finesse lather, chemical guys citrus gloss and wash or car pro reset.

Snow foam - chemical guys no touch, vp advance neutral, gyeon foam or Avalanche is what I use.

Sealant - you've already got a good one in tough coat but car pro reload or gyeon cure are both good too.
