Hi
Plugged iPhone cable into the car this morning and tried to play amazon music, it showed the track on the screen but no sound?.

Sure I’m being a bit thick but I’d appreciate help.

In the car settings (standard menu not CarPlay) there’s a volume option with about half a dozen sliders to control everything from nav volume, music volume from different sources etc. Try there. I had same issue but sat nav speech was virtually silent for me until I adjusted it.

As far as car menus go, it’s actually a very good system. So many options though. When I buy a new car I usually go and sit in it for an hour to fathom out where everything is. In the GTI I must be up to 3 hours already and still haven’t discovered everything. At least it’s an excuse to listen to DynAudio 😬

I’m terrible at reading through things, I have no patience and want to be off driving rather than reading through the handbook that’s akin to war and peace!

What was the issue out of interest?
