1987 American MK2 Gti
« on: 09 May 2011, 16:43 »
I recently sold my Mk3 Gti and acquired this for the price of 4 new tyres , the guy needed to get it out of where it was stored and had nowhere for it so for a few hundred quid it was mine, its an American spec, Canadian import to Ireland, 1987 1.8 16valve,
spotless shell, with no rust, the engine needs finishing and the wiring tidied up under the dash, its quirky and i think a keeper...

anyway c+c's welcome

thanks

needs a bit of a clean inside

engine needs assembled/finished

4 corners,

Starting to look a little more complete now, i'm waiting for a manifold gasket and nuts, a set of HT leads, and by the look of the bottom pic it needs a rad aswell.....
