Here is the two details I have done this summer. The first on my Golf R with a stage 2 and then a winter protection detail on my merc. I did video walkarounds just to be different.

Finally got round to using the Tardis today. A good wax after and used some proper metal polish on my tail pipes which came up a treat (well, marginally better than when I used to use the washing up pad...). It looks great but the sandwich bag tests proves there are still lots of little bits stuck to/embedded in the paint. I think that'll be a task for the spring, for now I'm just going to keep the layers of protection up over the winter.

No pictures as I have to admit I didn't have time to wash the wheels which although aren't too bad, I don't want to embarrass myself :embarrassed: If I can get a bit of a distance shot in that masks my laziness, I may post that later.

Got the wheels cleaned today and took a few photos despite the rather dull light. One thing I really love about TR is the near luminous quality when clean in strong light, makes it easier to spot in the car park at Tesco! Today though is not one of those days

Looks superb in any light.  Always love hat super gloss that a well detailed TR has, unlike any other colour.

Thanks.  It was a bit of a rushed job due to the weather but an improvement on before.

I thought it was about time my lad learned how to wash a car, so under strict supervision and with lots of instruction, he washed the red Golf. To be fair he did a pretty good job. Not all that methodical, having to go over areas again, but on the whole, he did well.

He very nearly reversed it into my Passat when turning it around on the drive, but he reckons he could see how close he was and in his mind all was fine.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
