Spec from Reg or VIN
« on: 29 May 2020, 11:45 »
Hey guys

Is there a current site where we can check a cars spec? I have both the reg and the VIN, but all the sites I have found through Google searches don't seem to work?

Thanks

If you ask the seller for a photo of the inside of the service book, where the vin and engine number is.
Then below the vin and engine number there will be loads of 3 digit codes, you can use these to tell you about the spec of the car.

Here is a link to the VAG option codes and what they mean:

Edit: it might be the cars manual, not service book. As the newer cars don't come with a service book IIRC.
