Lifestyle change = Car Change?
« on: 25 March 2016, 08:26 »
My Car GTD (mk6)
Mrs Car Seat Ibiza Toca (1.4)

My old job = 9-5, 100 miles a day (hence the diesel)
My new job = shift work 4 days on 4 days off, commute = 250 meters!

Mrs works a 9-5 and commutes 20 miles each way.

I would b grateful if you guys and girls could advise as to whether we now need 2 cars? if we do what cars? I like drving and we have no kids, we could do a straight swap but im not a huge fan of the seat, so I was thinking give the mrs the GTD and swap the seat in for Fiesta St? let me know what you think

If you like driving, and the Mrs uses the car a lot, you need (need is strong, but let's be honest, you want two) cars.

Havnt driven the ST but it's hard to ignore all the people who rave about them. Personally, I would go old school and get a classic "drivers" car for you to enjoy in your time off.
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.

Sell the Ibiza, see if you can cope with 1 car, if not, buy something interesting for yourself :)
