Ok here it goes, first one of these for me so will be a bit crap!
This project is going to be the fitting of a 1.8t into a MK2 as has been seen many times on here. Nothing special really! The engine is an APP from a MK1 TT or a Seat Leon, still unsure tbh as there are so many out there. It supposedly has 180bhp but also read 150?! Its got a ko3s turbo and came with an 02A gearbox. Anyway plans are, tidy it up, paint it etc get it ready to go in a car. Will be me and my dad doing all the work, and this will be our first project.
Already have a MK2 but its not gonna go in that as its only done 78k so seems a shame to rip the engine out! Going to be on the look out for a big bumper car with high mileage to put this bad boy in!
Here are some pics of the engine and gearbox. Came with everything needed inc downpipe, as it came out of a MK2. Was told it had done 60k so was pretty chuffed at the price I got it all for £250!
