Title: Front footwell lights
Post by: andy28 on 10 September 2019, 11:55
Hi all

I would like to add some front footwell lights to my Clubsport, which unfortunately doesn't come with them as standard (weight saving apparently...). I had some red ones in my previous GTI and loved the look for night time driving.

I know most of you will have them fitted already but has anyone done it?

I've seen a few guides (although most are for adding rear lights to be honest) and appreciate that they will need coding too.

Any guidance would be very welcome

Thanks

Andy

Weight saving by not fitting footwell lights?! You've got to love the logic there!

Maybe some of these might be easier to fit.....?

I was hoping for something that looked more OEM but the stick on ones are probably more suited to my skills!

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful! To be fair, I too could almost probably install these!

I've always turned my footwell lights off, it seemed strange seeing my feet at night.

Well now you're just rubbing it in!

My Clubsport is the same an I’d like to add the footwell lights, however I haven’t find a way of getting them working. To be honest I’d rather get the door card led strip working but didn’t have any joy coding and didn’t want to strip the door down to see what hardware it needs.
