wiring up stereo in my mk3
« on: 30 December 2010, 23:28 »
Hi.
I was wiring up the stereo in my vr6 and at first it worked then there was a dodgy connection then it cut out altogether... iv narrowed it down to the ignition wire.. this isnt live with the ignition turned on.
Is there a fuse for this that i could have blown? or any other ideas?

Really need help, cheers guys

Ryan

i wudv put it down to a simple fuse mate. did u check?
most cases is that a fuse for the radio ignition doubles up for a few other functions on the vehicle...such as ..interior light...or other. Mite b worth investigating if you want a key switch off again.

Why pay big bucks when you can do it yourself???
