rite then i know how to fit the coilovers because i used the search bar yepppi.

anyway do u think i shud use the orignal top mount or get new 1s only think is i wont to fit them tomorrow as its give the weather good and after tomorrow its s@&t so abit og info wud be nice.

rite just finished fitting the coilovers my back is in bits lol :sad:.

all depends if you got a bit of spare cash and whether nor not you can source them on a Saturday!

thing to do is whip off a mount and have a look - i re-used mine when Dave fitted my springs and that was with approx 87k on them

how can you tell if there is somethink wrong with them.

think i mite just use the orignals and wait till i get new 1s.

not 100% but you'll see if they are worn or not  :smiley:

Just get new ones,it make the job easier and quicker,you also have to consider the bearing aswell.

I've just bought some today,

V1J0 412 249 Bearingx2
V1J0 412 331 C Strut Mountingx2
VN 903 536 04 Hex Nutx2
£30 for the lot

What are you bumping for?

The part numbers are there and it's only £30 for new parts,it also makes the job quicker as you won't have to dismantle the old shocks for the top mounts.
