I've installed a set of Black Xenons and had my wheels refurbished :)

The new lights make her look much more aggressive.

It took forever to find a black oem set and cost a small fortune too...

They are plug and play but you need them coded in with VCDS.

Install was pretty easy and took about an hour or so - its a bit of a faff as you have to take the bumper off!  Luckily there are lots of guides on youtube on how to remove.

There is a nice recess under the lights for the ballast so everything goes in neat and tidy.
Friend at a local garage aligned them for me too.

Thanks for the nice comments :)

Finally got around to fitting a second USB port. Fitted neatly in one of the spare blank buttons in front of the gear stick. Can now play my music from the flash drive and charge my phone at the same time.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.

Looking good - mine have some scratches on the tips where previous owner has used something abrasive to try and clean them up.

its nothing drastic but bothers me, not sure on how to remove - someone suggested fine wire wool but scared it will make it worse!
