Anyone fitted one 16 quid then 40 to have painted. I don’t want to buy one and it’s not a good fit mine has the normal corrosion issue

I'd just go get a genuine one to be honest. Paint it yourself for probably less than £50 all in.
It's a pig getting the barrel out.... find a socket that fits nicely over the barrel surface and encourage it out with a mallet.
