Newbie Golf Gti 25th Anni Big Power
« on: 19 January 2017, 10:01 »
Hi All,

I have just purchased my dream car and its a beast!

2002 golf gti anniversary NO.508 in black, from the outside and inside it looks stock which is what i love but the engine however....

•   GT28RS Turbo high flow exhaust manifold
•   Genesis 550cc Injectors
•   Larger custom MAF Housing (70mm)
•   3" Turbo Back Exhaust
•   Aum Intake
•   Uprated FMIC Intercooler
•   upgraded highflow external fuel pump - in-line (Loud AF)
•   Upgraded Clutch(unknown but not nice daily)
•   Upgraded Engine Mounts (inc. Dogbone mount)
•   Boost Gauge
•   Aum bottom end with forged Rods, AUQ head ( no idea why)
Snow performance water/Meth kit in the front arch
Huge K&N Filter.
It is also running on Eibach coilovers and semi slicks 235/40/18. and the front end is poly bushed.

Its all finished with a Revo Stage 3 map with Sps controller .
i like this as i can run it in stock for daily and full ballsout for track.

I think i need some better brakes, the 312 Anni disks and calipers just not cutting it.

id like to see what everyone else is running  :nerd:

You could put leon cupra r front brakes. Theyll go under the 18s or some people run porshe boxter rear callipers.

Brembos are brembos. Ive just been looking at q7 front callipers. Value for money it seems.
I hear good things about tarox. 6 pot might be too much for such a little car.
Also just been looking at willwood kits and ap.

Mercedes use brembo and they seem price wise cheaper because they are less desired and reguire some brackets but then any non off the shelf kit will need some form of fabrication
