putting a turbo onto a mk3 golf need info plz.

hi all
new on here but love the vw golfs that is all i have ever driven :smug:.
right looken at gettin a mk3 16v gti to put a turbo on i was thing of a garret t3/t4 does anyone know of a good place to get one.
i have found bahn bremmer motorsports on the net but hes in america could do with a uk suppler.
plus could do with the downpipes and manifold help would be greatfull thx.


i well be selling my mk4 1.8 turbo with 127000 on the clock and full service history,recaro seats lowered suspension annversiery head lamp the black ones very nice plus the car is in excellent con open to offers.

you also need new pistons and a fully modified cooling system due to increased heat and compression!!

and manifolds, and injectors, and downpipe, and intercooler.. and the slight issue of engine management. other than that its easy :grin:

would be better off with an engine transplant, or sticking with the mk4.

ok tar so how much could i pick up a 1.8 turbo engine up for,i would profer a mk3 they are better i think anyway.
