Hi got a 1.8 how do I make it quicker

By buying another car - they are not quick but reliable though.

To make it faster you'd spend more than the car's worth (multiple times!)

I'm going to turbo mine at stock compression run about 4 psi or less, I've already designed a home made pulse width generator with adjustable frequency to plumb an extra 3 bar injector in which will be programmed to ramp up and down on and off boost although it will probably go bang in the end. Then hunt for a vr6 or ABF lump

Put the wrong clocks in it,something that shows 60mph when you are really only doing 30.

to make any golf quicker, you need to start with one that has 4 fuel injectors :wink:
