Hi there
It re-sets your service miles - if you need them re-setting
The 000's are on your instrument cluser - its the trip counter re-set button
-
Caution - this simply resets it for the fixed interval time and distance servicing, ie 12 months or 10,000 miles.
If you want to stay on the variable interval LongLife, then the ONLY way to reset it is to use a VAG-COM, or a stealer.
-
Why would somebody use this? Is it if the car has just been serviced and the garage that did the servicing forgot to reset the service indicator?
-
I'd say that if you've done the service yourself, and need to reset the service indicator...maybe?
