2001 X Passat Port Location

Someone in the family wants me to scan his 2001 Passat, where is the port please

I think its the same as the A4, which is down by the pedals.

or if its not there you may find it   under the rear ashtray behind the handbrake (  thats where it was on my old a4 but that was older )  should be near the pedals i would have thought on later cars

2001 should be b5.5 so its drivers footwell under the dash, roughly in line with the brake pedal. if for some reason it's a late registered b5 it'll be in the centre console infront of the hand brake underneath the rubber coin tray thing
