Title: Digital Speedo
Post by: danheath1312 on 17 October 2016, 19:52
Hi guys,

This is a really little niggle but it bugs me.

Got Mk6 Gti DSG...the digital speedo readout on the display is in kph...how on earth do I get it changed to mph? Is it something I can do myself or will I need vag? Or can it be done at all?

Ta,

Dan

No VCDS needed, it's in the settings. Should be in user manual.... disable secondary speed display, then it should show mph.

You do need VCDS to do it properly. You need to change the instruments to 'ROW' (Rest of World) Then in the MFD setting, select 'DIGITAL SPEED' You'll also need to change your units back to imperial.

This will give you a big digital speedo in the centre of the DIS and replace the small kph with external temperature. If you need your kph back for driving abroad, just tick 'alt speed display' and it will revert back to standard.
