If you wanted to be really specific then you can use Adjustment Layers in Photoshop, but that's difficult to explain easily. Here's a tutorial on adjustment layers. The beauty of adjustment layers is that the original photo is not harmed or touched and the adjustment layer can be edited in the future if you need to.

Cheers guys, been playing around,

I've found out how to remove colours too, I like the effect!!!

Had a good look and I'm impressed with them fella. Love the more abstract shots. Tell your mate I hate him as I want those Rota Grids on the Rado but you can't get them int he right PCD or offset. Mind you has made me think about spraying my rims white.
