Thanks :) it is straight I think check the mast on the boat, I'll have a look at it when I'm home. If I was to make the shoreline straight the boat would be on the piss!

Nope, it definately needs straightening up.
Take a look when lined up with the edge of a Window:


Boats do rock, but land doesn't so, I would always go to straighten for the horizon of the water, then if the boat's mast isn't straight, then it's fine.

Got my "new" 50mm lens today. My old one seized up with sand, so got myself a Minolta 50mm f1.7 AF RS lens, one of the last produced by Minolta before selling their camera business to Sony. Anyway, these lenses are supposed to be better than their newer Sony equivalents.

Just a test shot and quick edit, but I'm liking this lens alot. Really missed having a good 50mm prime.
