Managed to scrounge my bro's Canon 400 D-SLR and a handful of lenses including a 10-20 wide angle in time for Goodwood.  Hope something good comes from it.  Any tips for shots of the hill-climb?

bloody hell Joe, why do you have to be so good!

Would you be up for writing any quick "How it's shot" guides on some of your photos mate? Everything always seems to be perfectly crisp, no noise and a nice colour, etc. when you take them and it's making me question where I'm going wrong

cheers mate,

well with that photo it was shot with my 50mm prime, and it was literally a case of playing around with the settings ended up using :

F 1.8, 1/800, ISO 100

I wanted the wheel to be the main focal point so i used a low F number sure if you look at the exif stuff it will tell you and then just adjusted teh shutter speed until i got the right sort of lighting trail and error really and then just boosted the colour in PS and sorted the levels out  ive just read a book i bought called 'how to digitally photography cars' really helpful loads of pointers and tips and basicall got me thnking alot more about what im doing

im trying to get it 'right in camera' now as much as possible
