Bang on mate!

Exposure:     0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture:    f/9.0
Focal Length:    35 mm
ISO Speed:    100

I then had the flash (Big fella, not the built in one) set to manual and cranked it up a notch at a time till I was happy. Without the flash the shot would have been really dark. In actual fact this shot was taken not far off midday in blazing hot sunshine!

great work Nick, with the fast shutter speed really give that moody feel to it and the fill flash works great :) I cant wait till i can get a decent speedlight!!! give it a month or two and ill get a 430exii its within my price range

thanks mate. looks brilliant. i'll have to get one of the additional flash units (i don't know what they are called lol) need to learn more about ISO and get some different filters...

fiddled about with the WB the other night so im learning a little about that...i need photoshop aswell lol

That's a sweet flash Joe. I've got a Sigma 430 EX DG Super which was the best I could afford at the time. Wish I'd waited really and got a pucka Canon one.

my mate NAth has the 530 cost him soemwhere around £300 soooo nice hahah im going to ask him if i can borrow it soon ;)
