What have you done to your MK 7 today ?

The law states Vehicles first used on 1 April 1985 or later state the front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through. So surely I can tint passenger and drivers windows according to the law

Depends whether the fronts are already tinted (which they are, not sure how much light they already let through).

I think the fronts are always tinted to legal limit but if you are willing to accept responsibility for illegally tinting the fronts further, it does help if the rears are noticeably darker and then when looking at the car, it seems there is still a considerable difference and the police are less likely to pull you for it.

Dark headlining and dark rear tints do dull the cabin which then means there is less light coming through the fronts when you look at it.

I took my car to a tinting place and they put one of the light meters on and said the fronts are already as dark as legally allowed.

Nothing mate. When we had that massive storm 5-6 tiles and a felt roof fell on mine. Insurance said it was a act of god!!! Wtf
