Looking good, AutoGlym glass polish and Rain X does a similar job but maybe not as good

I thought ours were already darkened? Is the R darker? Show us when you do it

I too thought that the GTi and Golf R rear lights are the same units, its only the front headlight units which have the twin Uu and LED turn signal strips.

Almost certain the R lights are darker than the GTI as with previous models. Wouldn't like to say for sure until i see one next to the other though.

The R tails are darker than the GTI ones, i'll post some pics when i get mine in march!
