Yeah it was a good run, I left at around 2pm and the roads were clear; even the Antwerp ring.
With such little traffic on the road everyone had the chance to push on, specially as everyone moves out of the fast lane.
For about 250 miles I picked up a 'wing-man' in a S320..

Spritmonitor lists 58 GTD's with a range between 34 and 51mpg, and an average just shy of 42. Probably a realistic figure.

Now I've just seen this TDI section from a thread in the GTI section. There was a thread in there talking about if we should have a TDI/GTD section so I didn't think we had one.

Well the best I've got is 43.83mpg and the worst 38.08mpg. Now I do 70% local work the rest is a blast up the motorway just to clear the DPF out though I've never had the light come on. All mine are full tank fillups and I don't rely on the MFD as that always reads 2-3mpg over.

Other fuel sites are available but I find this one is the best.

My GTD was built in April 2010 took delivery in April too, the 59 plate GTD I test drove had it, I have a Vagcom maybe I will try and look to see if its in there, but maybe I need the SKU or code what ever for access to the clocks?

Have been trying really hard with the driving like miss Daisy still on for 700 to a tank at the mo.  Even this this morning in -2 to 1 degree temps same journey to work achieved 61.9mpg.  Only time will tell wether the displayed mpg matches the calculated tank fill when it gets to the end.  Got stuck last night in a traffic jam and it ripped the miles remaining down by 60!!!! it was reporting 730 to a tank and lost 5mpg during that journey.

Its one 3/4 at the mo with 240miles on the trip.

I'm now getting 500-650 miles per tank depending on how I drive her - happy with that - my last car gave 350-450 miles on £105 fill ups

Wonder what the R drivers are getting per tank, and I also wonder what size tank they have?

Cool, I've had fuel tank issues in the past with Evo's I've owned, got less than 100 miles per tank often
