Title: MK5 GT TDI vs MK6 TDI
Post by: reserves on 03 December 2015, 11:55
Considering a MK5 TDI GT, seen one for £5,500 2008 140 Leather, 65K

Though also considering a

MK6 2010 TDI around £8k
MK6 GTD (2010) same miles but £11k

My heart is saying GTD, better drive, less stressful, way better interior (a big factor)

BUT

Can't get my head around the GTD being worth double the MK5?

The MK6 TDI seems like a good middle ground.hmm

Answering my own question.

Drove a MK6 GT TDI, for me feels too old, MK6 was light years ahead.

Take it was the MK5 you drove and the MK6 was way better...don't be tight and buy the GTD!

Yeah, I meant MK5 GT TDI, shame as it's 62,000 on the clock, leather and for sale about 50 yards from where I live :)

Got a 2010 GT TDI, 73K.

Drives great, way better than the MK5 I test drove and not much more expensive.
