Just Clayed the car (n00b)
« on: 25 September 2008, 21:30 »
Righteo....

Went out and bought Megs Smooth Surf Clay Kit from Frauds

I whole heartedly agree claying does make the paint feel smooth and certainly made applying the wax on the bonnet a lot easier....

However

One does feel as if one has just spent 2 hours rubbing a piece of white coloured blu tac over his car

i must be not doing it right, i did plenty of claying and the clay basically stayed the same? the roof was by far the worst...

I'll give my full report 2moz when i can actually see the car in sunlight...

I was expecting to have like a cross between soap and clay, i guess something like i would imagine they used on old old wooden ships from the civil war era

is that an anchorman quote slipped into claying!? i belieeeeeeeve it is!
