Title: Is it possible to buy the Jakara material please???

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of ideas for the seats of a new T5 I'm about to order on monday. One of my ideas is to re-trim the 3 seater rear seat with the gti Jakara fabric. I would also want the fronts to match so will either re-trim the original seats or possibly try to buy a set of Golf seats as they fit.

So I wonder if the fabric is available to buy at all?

Yes, you can buy this stuff from specialist upholsterers Matt.
If you have a look at Red Robin's seats in the Recaro CS thread you'll see how he trimmed his Recaros in this cloth. There are others on mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum that have bought this style of cloth and used it for interior modifications (such as geastick gators  :sick: ). The only version of this cloth I've seen for sale though so far is the mk5 tartan, which is very slightly different to the mk6 cloth.
