Title: Volkswagen ID......

Some of you may know me or know of me at least but I am a helpful or at least I try to be helpful member who works for Inchcape Volkswagen.

Well basically I have been choosen from my retailer to attend and visit Germany later on this month to an exclusive event surrounding Up up coming Volkswagen ID range.

So if there is anything anyone would like me to try and find out the answer to please post it on here and I will do my best to answer any questions when I return.

The trip is the 29th-30th of January.

Nothing else is considered as important - not how it drives, what colour it is, whether it comes with whatever option or even what the hell it looks like.

Maybe those things will come later when we are comparing one milkfloat with another, but for now, we are petrolheads looking to try to figure out if an electric thing can be a viable form of transport.

Oh hang on, here's one for you.... do VW perceive that electric cars actually have a lower total cost of ownership than a ICE one?

Are servicing costs less?

(how do main dealers feel about the future lower revenues on service if that's true btw?)

The information we received months ago stated it wasn’t confirmed to go into production for the UK.
