I know this has been done to death but could someone who has actually changed the tensioner them selves tell me how long it takes :undecided: :undecided:

Due to age and milage most will have stretched chains by now so I would suggest changing them too.

Not the answer to your question but when I replaced the intake manifold it took me twice as long as dealer timings and this was a 'relatively simple' task that required few other bits to be removed. Elsewhere on the site I remembered this from Seabrook 132:
Total cost for the work was £872.61. That includes 6.5 hours labour coming in at £468 and then the rest (£404.61) in parts which I will list:
