would anyone like a writeup on the basics of In Car Entertainment covering things from proper wiring to correct speaker mountings?

yeah. you can sticky it in the car audio section and/or put it on the main site.

and dizzie lad, when might i be getting this big write up on your car for a proper feature? :)

basic amp wiring would be useful too :)

give us a shout if you want before you put it up and i'll see if can help :)

Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

Dizzie this would be dead useful.....i currently have live wires under my passenger seat from the last owners mp, my head unit is wired in to two rear speakers but that's all.....need an ice overhaul!!!! :)

I've made a start...

covered the basic setup, headunit, door speakers and 6x9's on the shelf ;D

moving on to amp'd systems tomorrow

for your car to go in the 'feature car' bit just a load of pics and spec of it all. the dash swap is another article in itself i reckon
