Title: Issues with replacement fuel pump

Have replaced the accumalor box and pump which was leaking with a standard Facet pump giving correct pressure. Lift pump is working and fuel is getting to the front but not into the engine therefore not starting ; it appears to be returning straight to the tank ; do I need to put a regulator in the return line ?

Any help appreciated
