What is DAC

im looking at getting a new headunit soon and like this one as i want one with bluetooth feature

and was wondering what it means by 24-bit DAC

Errr, no it isn't.

It means Digitial to Anlogue converter

All CD/MP3 players have them. They're necessary to convert the digitally-stored music (all your binary 1's and 0's) into something that can be heard.
