Put these on my MkIV about a month ago - have done about 300 miles on them with no problems whatsoever. Firmer but not a harsh ride, exactly what I wanted.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Nah I didn't go for adjustable DL's - I only lowered around 40mm and haven't had any rubbing issues at all. However I did replace the following parts, especially as some of the bolts have a nylon thread and aren't as good 2nd time around. Worth doing for the cost:

N 106 944 01 - Lower ARB Droplink to Wishbone Bolt - QTY 2 @ £0.96 ea
N 102 078 04 - Front Lower Strut Mounting Bolt - QTY 2 @ £1.72 ea
N 101 064 02 - Front Lower Strut Mounting Nut - QTY 2 @ £0.65 ea
1J0 412 331 C - Front Topmount - QTY 2 @ £9.10 ea
1J0 412 249 - Front Strut Bearing - QTY 2 @ £6.96 ea

N 905 173 04 - Rear Lower Strut Mounting Bolt - QTY 2 @ £1.08 ea
N 102 861 10 - Rear Lower Strut Mounting Nut - QTY 2 @ £0.44 ea
N 906 484 02 - Rear Upper Mounting Bolt - QTY 4 @ £1.51 ea

I covered all the threads in copper grease as well...big tub from Halfords costs about £7.

No Wax oil is generally put on the underneath of a car to protect it. Copper grease is usually used to prevent threads sticking etc etc
