AVS its the 'sports' bushes you also want 2 nuts and bolts

having mine do on wednesday, local garage quoted £140


The Clio didn't as it's naturally aspirated and French  :sick:  :laugh:

book time for them is 4.2hours but can easily be done in under an hour ,simple job to do really my work charges 2.5hours for fitting them which is undercutting alot of dealers around us

interesting as my local VW dealer's book time is 1.5 hours

I paid about £140 all in from them a couple of years back

Ive just had a service on my 1.8 20v and i had new rear axle bushes.  Parts wise they came to £35.05.

Yeah the parts dont seem to cost that much, its finding a good garage at a reasonable hourly rate thats not going to charge a full days labor if it takes hours longer getting them out.....

Well, i had a service so, Oil and Filter, Pollen Filter, car checked inc brakes cleaned and adjusted and rear axle bushes changed + all the environmental disposal stuff came to £197 at a BOSCH garage..... quite reasonable i thought???

Well thats not to bad at all for the money. I will be on the phone all morning tomorrow finding out the costs and when they can fit her in.

did mine myself to not a bad job at all . cut the rubber out the chisled the outer metal. used a proper vw tool to insert them again.

took me 1 hour 30mins in total its a axel out jobby makes life a hell of a lot easyer.

if u wer from near me id do um for 80quid for ya.  :smiley:
