Well after getting my K04 fitted last week, i thought it was time i got my chain tensioner replaced for piece of mind, so all should be well now,
The mechanic said he couldn't believe how crap the existing one was,
compared to the latest revision  :shocked: and he said he's not surprised VW are having issues with them,
So it sounds like its a £260 well spent

Think I am going to get this upgrade done as a precautionary measure....anyhows how does the car feel with the bigger turbo?

Yes he said the new design is a lot better, and was happy that it is far superior than the old one  :smiley:

Think I am going to get this upgrade done as a precautionary measure....anyhows how does the car feel with the bigger turbo?

With the Bigger turbo it just pulls n pulls all the way to 7k  :evil:
Puts the power down really well if you control it right with your right foot,
You get into licence losing territory very quickly without even trying, got another TrackDays coming up on the 22nd so will get a chance to compare it properly with the standard turbo, it also sounds awesome with the BCS power valve system on boost  :cool:
