Changed my shifter bracket bushings to billet ones as my rubber ones were split and making shifting gears a pain. Also serviced my forge 007p with the forge service kit with their revised piston and seals.

The build has reached a natural finishing point, body work aside it drives quite well. Over the next couple months I'll decide whether to take the golf to the next level or just look to the body work.

Car went in for mapping today with Bill at Badger5

Still a few things to sort out on the car, need a second uprated fuel pump and relocate the lambda sensor further upstream closer to the turbo. But the results speak for themselves, 491bhp with only 24 psi boost, the turbo is still half asleep, after several dyno runs nothing is glowing.

And of course some nice fittings and adapters to go with my inline da31 pump (sytec intank feeding)

Thanks bud! It's always nice when people appreciate the work that's gone into the golf, especially so when it's a fellow enthusiast - someone like yourself would better appreciate the work done than someone passing by at the petrol forecourt and with what you said I know I'm on the right track.

I'm possibly looking at a 4motion shell I can drop everything into, I missed out on one this morning, was in a meeting when the auction ended at £340, absolutely gutted at that price. I'm going to keep looking for a bargain like that one, with 4motion I should be able to turn up the boost a bit.

I intend to keep it locked in 50:50 permanently, it will drive less like a haldex and more like a torsen 4wd, it should hold down the power pretty well and be quite good in snow/ice too.

awesome work gone in to this  does it get the power down now

It most certainly does  there is no wheel spin in any gear; even with ad08r in the wet. I love what haldex has done for me on the straights, but I still find it a bit slow to respond on launch and I get about a quarter turn of wheel spin from the front before torque is sent to the rear wheels. (powertrak valve - cheapest solution)

I still cant find a replacement for mine and that's only got the k04  but thinking of bigger turbo soon not 100% on how exactly to work my controller though

There's such a thing as a powertrak valve available for the haldex unit that keeps the haldex engaged longer and to transfer more torque on demand than oem valve. It can be had for around £50
