Yes great video
I was looking at that the other day on the apr site, it's something that I've always known about, and touch wood never had any major issues, I always keep a close check on oil levels because of this,
The recent issue I had with the white smoke on track were I thought I had blown my turbo was due to the PCV failure and pumping oil into the intake system, I've since fitted the catch can and now all seems ok, I emptied my catch can the day as it was full of what looked like muddy water :( so at least that has stopped all that crap going back through the engines intake system, (can fills a lot quicker than I thought it would)
Think I'm gonna fit an oil pressure gauge and keep an eye on things tho,

I did similar yesterday on the way to inters in the interest of fly avoidance. 39mpg didn't go above 60, on the way home however the usual 32mpg sitting at 75-80.

I got my big dent smoothed out at InterDUSTonal Saturday for 50 quid. They used a drill polisher and swirled the area. It bothered the hell out of me SO today I re-compounded/polished/Opti Coated the door and clayed the back hatch which got really gritty this winter finsihing up with the 3 step combo. I havent waxed it in 14 months and the Opti-Coat is holding up great, All I do is wash it when it needs it. I didnt wash it from Nov-Apr  http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-coat.html

undecided as yet. a mate with a mk5 has done a magnet mod, where magnets are mounted behind the bumper and on the reg plate to hold it in place.

if not that, then it will live on the lower grille until show time.

always a good call putting the plate directly in front of the intercooler, i'm a fan of the 'shoved in the window it fell off officer look'
