1.8t 2304mbar of boost **solved** doh
« on: 13 May 2015, 23:08 »
evening all,

so i've put a AJQ 180 in my mk3 golf and it's been awesome. so its been on the road a few days now and it's been killing a lot of other cars and that got me thinking.

so today i got out vagcom and took some reading from channel 115...

my actual received boost is 2.3 bar  :undecided:

i'm sure it's only a k03 that's on it and it's a real animal.

what on earth is going on? i'm sure this is past the safe running levels?

i've got no over boost errors coming up.

any suggestions on what could be going on?

You need to convert it  :nerd:

http://www.convertunits.com/from/millibar/to/psi

Use the bottom table and it works it out at approx 18psi

Haha no probs

Be thankful what VCDS shows you is not whats actually going on. I'v seen a few cases where the figures in VCDS are ACTUAL boost figures even after converting  :lipsrsealed:
