What does the actuator actually do?? Is it worth upgrading to a forge one?? Any got a forge one? 1.8T BTW.
 Help as always would be good.  :smiley:

i believe its worth upgrading as i think it helps maintain boost for longer  :undecided: and it not prone to failure.  also you can upgrade the spring to take into account a remap

Bit of pointless bling in my eyes. The KKK turbo on your car already has an adjustable actuator rod. The only advantage of the forge item is the choice of spring weights, but again I don't see the point when the stock item is already more than capable of handling all the boost the wheezy borg warner unit can throw at it. Could be a good replacement item if yours ever breaks though.
