Key coding, how hard?
« on: 07 January 2017, 15:50 »
Hi guys I've got a ready made key cut with a new transponder etc in it.
Just need to get it coded. My friend has an eBay copy of the vagcom but not to familiar with it.
Is it easy to code a new key to the car?

If not anyone in Kent area who can do it cheap?

You'll need VAG TACHO or Kommander to extract the SKC, then VAG COM to code the keys although VAG TACHO will do it but it can be unreliable

You'll also need VAG COM to code in the remote central locking (if you have it)
