Title: control module incorrectly coded 01044

driver window stopped working, press the button and got a loud whirring noise so swapped the motor and it now goes up and down but i have lost my wing mirror indicator and i get "control module incorrectly coded" 01044 error code

how do i recode the the driver door module? i have obdeleven and can do long coding with that, if i only knew the process :shocked:

A lot of the time you can use the Rosstech guides and slowly work your way around with other scan tools.

Can't comment on OBD 11.

Can you plug the old module in to get the coding off of that?

yes mate i spent a few hours googling and figured out how to code the door module all good now and was surprisingly very easy on obdeleven, a few steps less than vcdsguide :whistle:
