Looking for some sun blinds for the rear side windows, as the standard tint is not quite dark enough to stop the wee one getting woken up.

swmbo is on at me to put the blinds back in the car. When I had the fiesta, I've tried several 'universal' ones (Lindam, Munchkin, etc) and don't like any of them... they either are not big enough, fall off, or rattle against the window when going over bumps, etc.

I don't think one is necessary in the rear window, and the VW site seems to suggest a full kit including rear window is a whopping £180 fitted

Any suggestions?

After a bit of searching on my lunch break I've found these which look pretty decent...

on 'offer' at the moment as well... £65 for a set is a lot better than £180!

I've had 3 sets over the years for my MK4 Golf, Audi A3 and now the A6

They are excellent   Best thing is they help keep the rear tinted even with the window down, allowing a breeze in

These look really good, if the factory 90% tints don't work for me, will buy as set of there :)

Yes Privacy Shades are excellent- I've had them on my last two A4 Avants and the bonus is you can sell them on if you change vehicles, they stop insects getting in with the window open too

They used my old Passat as a template for that model in 2008. They are an excellent product and a great price. It just goes to show how much the dealers take the piiss.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

hmmm, like the look of those. Been looking for a decent set of blinds as opposed to a darker window tint. Look forward to your review on these and may just have to invest in a set.

Let me know how you get on with them and post some pictures. I've been meaning to buy a set for the 7.
