So with the impending departure of the Golf this weekend, it's time to start a new chapter in the book of car, so I'd like to introduce you to the vehicle I should be picking up within the next 2 weeks.
2009 BMW 320d M Sport Touring
M sport pack - 18" alloys, sports suspension, sport seats and bodykit
Rear parking sensors
Cruise control
Bluetooth
It was ex company so basic on extras unfortunately.
At least it's German, and yes I have plans for it

Nice barge. :afro:
just been looking at Wagons myself

It's a practical family car, but I can still have some fun with it. From previous experience their Touring models drive like Saloons, you can barely tell they have a fat arse on them. Sneaky re-map should see 210bhp as well, and over 400nm torque. DPF needs to go as well
-
We had one as a pool car and put 110000 trouble free miles on it at max rpm.
Ours was nasty beige inside but M pack takes care of that, I liked it anyway
-
Going to order an LED conversion kit for the angel eyes too
-
335d rear?

Pardon?

I wouldn't mind the twin exhaust, but other than that I like the back of the 320d. The M sport makes it so sexy.
Ordered, can't be putting up with yellow angel eyes.

What's up?
-
The DVLA still haven't returned the paperwork to the garage for the private to normal plate change
-
So...
It wasn't my dealer than sent the paperwork to the DVLA to have the cherished plate removed, it was the BMW garage where the previous owner traded it in. Long story short they filled in the paperwork incorrectly and it all got returned to them. So I've waited 3 weeks for literally nothing!
Waiting to find out on Monday whether they'll let me take the car on the cherished plate anyway for the time being, and transfer the plate over to the original once BMW and the DVLA sort their sh!t out. Why this couldn't be done 3 weeks ago I have literally no idea.
Obviously I'm expecting them to come back and say no, you have to wait.

Had the dealer on the phone today to let me know that the plate transfer is done so I need to change the plates back to the originals. Bit gutted, I really liked having the private plate on there  RIP GR52 UMP.
In other news, the dealer PP'd all the paperwork on my behalf to action the V5 change. Talk about cheek! lol
