All forums seem to run out of steam but never the less I think this forum the Golf GTI FORUM.CO.UK has been of great help to myself in just over my one year of membership. My Golf Mk 7.5 GTI PP DSG will be one year old in November and I am still loving the car very much like from the first day I collected it from the showroom.

I'm usually one for doing a few mods etc but the car is so good out the box I don't really know where to start. Anyone on here had a little tinker?

Definitely a pedal box! Only 99 to go....

Audi short shifter is very good, easy to fit and cheap if you have a manual. Looks 100% oem too...
Red footwell leds also look good.

I always think the very short 'Auto' shifters on the mercs look good.  They are almost flush with the bulkhead

Does the Audi short shifter reduce the oem shift's notchiness, Watts? Mine is occassionally a little too mechanical feeling for my liking.

No. But it does improve the feel, more precise. I've also replaced the plastic cable bracket and rubber bushes for metal (Audi part again) and solid bushes. Minimal difference, would probably just change the lever if starting again.
